80 stallions take the stage at the main licensing for the German Sports Horse

from the 23rd to the 26th of January in Munich-Riem

As an equestrian kickoff to the new year, 80 stallions compete for their right to begin their career as a sire – but in the final auction of the DSP- stallion days, the young stallions  are also very popular as future sports horses. Careers like those of Unee BB, the elite-stallions Don Diamond and Colestus, 

Zalando - who currently is in the top 1% of young sires, the DSP- Triple-champion DSP De Sandro or DSP Boss Hoss, who will in 2019 be represented by his first offspring in Munich, began at the stallion days of the South German horse breeding associations, which will take place for now the sixteenth time in January.

Names of great sires  like  Cornet Obolensky, Comme il faut, Calido I, Diamant de Semilly, Kasanova de la Pomme, Vagabond de la Pomme or Viscount are present in Munich. With Apache, Rubin-Royal, Benicio, Buckingham, Danone I, De Niro, Dante Weltino, Johnson, Don Juan de Hus, Foundation, Franziskus, Fürstenball, Fürsten-Look, Millennium and Zack most popular stallions and stallions

with major international records in dressage are represented. Additionally for Newcomers with their much anticipated first year of offspring able to be licensed like Topas, Santo Domingo, Bon Coeur, DSP Dominy, Goldberg, and Morricone there will be the internationally renown stage in front of an audience of breeders. Further we will meet again with countless DSP auction foals!

 

All stallion who will be aged three already at the time of licensing, have been through a rigorous selection procedure to get the ticket to the main licensing for the German Sports Horse: The selection committee 

took the first glimpse at their candidates during the four selections offered, followed by the DSP- veterinary committee who selected a second time based on the stallions vetting and x-rays.
